The Florida Center for Assisted Living (FCAL) is the assisted living committee of the Florida Health Care Association (FHCA). Under the FCAL committee, FHCA serves the needs of the assisted living community through statewide advocacy, education, networking, professional development and quality initiatives. The FCAL committee's proactive focus on assisted living legislation is backed by the support of FHCA, the state’s first and largest advocate for long term care providers and the residents they serve. Assisted living facility members know that their voices will be heard by statewide policymakers and regulators who continually seek to influence the future of assisted living.
In addition to statewide advocacy, Assisted living facility members benefit from having the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) at their side to represent the assisted living profession’s legislative interests in Washington. NCAL is a national policy leader and FCAL’s partnership with NCAL provides a strong, united front that carries the day when national issues are at stake.
