Excellence In Nursing Awards

The FHCA Long Term Care Excellence in Nursing Awards recognize the exemplary contributions made throughout the LTC community by licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants. Over the long history of this annual quality awards program, the recipients have been diverse in their accomplishments while exhibiting a common concern for residents, family members, and staff members. Award winners exemplify excellence in person-centered care, commitment and dedication to their LTC communities, continuous quality improvement, evidence-based clinical practice and leadership.   • Certified Nursing Assistant of the Year
     

Eligibility

Nominees must have been employed at an FHCA member facility for at least two years and have held a license/certificate for at least 30 months. Please review the Nomination Eligibility & Criteria in the Awards Packet for specific requirements for each nomination category.

Recognition of Winners

  • Nurse Winners receive a complimentary registration to the current year's Nurse Leadership Program, and two nights' lodging.
  • The CNA of the Year will receive a complimentary registration to the current year's CNA Leadership Day, and one night's lodging at the host hotel.
  • All winners will be presented with a recognition award plaque during the Annual Awards Luncheon at the Nurse Leadership Program, and recognized in FHCA's publications and on its website.
