The GeriU - Online Geriatrics University

GeriU, the Online Geriatrics University, supports the educational and work activities of health-care professionals caring for elderly persons. The education mission of GeriU is to enhance geriatric care through the use of e-learning and information technology, with the development of training models in geriatrics and curricular tools to increase the quality of geriatrics education at all levels of training and in a variety of health professions.

The GeriU website, www.geriu.org, offers online access to Internet-based education resources, tools for communication and collaboration, and a standards-compliant learning management system. GeriU's interactive e-learning modules complement other learning experiences. Module development follows instructional design principles, utilizing content from subject matter experts.
