Twenty-eight long term care member facilities of the Florida Health Care Association are being recognized nationally for their extraordinary commitment to quality care as part of the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) National Quality Awards program. Florida has 25 Bronze Award recipients and three Silver Award recipients, and facilities were honored for their achievement during the FHCA 2011 Annual Conference & Trade Show on August 15 in Orlando and recognized nationally during the AHCA/NCAL Convention in Las Vegas, NV, in September. This year, FHCA had eight representatives participate as AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Board of Senior and Master Examiners.
