Thank you for joining us today.  This presentation is about YOU, the Treasures of LTC.  It is about opportunities that we have to influence community perceptions about LTC.

As we start out today, we would like to identify our Treasures.  Would all of the licensed Administrators  that have been doing this for ten years or more please stand.

Would all of the Administrators that have moved onto corporate positions or  consulting, who continue to promote quality and positive outcomes please stand

Would all the Administrators that are licensed and have 5 to 10 years experience please stand

Would all of the Administrators that have been at this less that 5 years please stand

Would all of the AIT’s… the future of tomorrow please stand, and will all the remaining Treasures in LTC: Nurses, Social Workers, Associates, people that care  for  and about our States Treasures please join them?
Now lets give a round of applause to the unsung heroes and often un-noticed champions and treasures of LTC
Today is about what we can do together… Some of you older  treasures may hear things that you have heard before, some of you may be hearing things for the first time.  We ask that you share your experiences, offer suggestions, and take away something new that you can try.  The challenge for today is to recognize that as we share the treasures of experience, we help promote our image.  As we take time to explore how we proactive approach our image, we might be able to rekindle the passion that drives us, and validate why we do what we do.
