Zika Virus

On Friday, August 19, the CDC released a Health Advisory with the latest information regarding the mosquito-borne Zika virus. The notice provided CDC guidance for travel and testing of pregnant women and women of reproductive age related to the investigation for local mosquito-borne Zika virus transmission in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. The Florida Department of Health has identified an area in Miami-Dade where the Zika virus is being spread by mosquitos; click here for more information and to view the map.
