2019 Nursing Home Funding Losses
The 2019 Legislature failed to extend the $138 million in funding for nursing center care from the 2018-19 state budget. Those reductions to nursing home funding are resulting in losses averaging more than $675,000 per center ($27.25 per day to care for each Medicaid resident).
