Importance of the K Tag ASPEN

One important document that facility administrators and maintenance directors should be familiar with is the K Tag ASPEN. This document contains all federal and state Life Safety K Tags, including pertinent information for each tag. In addition, each tag has the NFPA 101 or NFPA 99 (2012 editions) code references listed.

It's important to note that if your organization has facilities outside Florida, K Tags 1001 and above will not apply for those facilities.
