Brinn Helton Named 2023 Willis J. Gregson Associate of the Year

Tallahassee, Fla. - Brinn Helton (left), Regional Manager with Gentell which specializes in Advanced Wound Care dressings, was recently honored as the Florida Health Care Association’s (FHCA) Willis J. Gregson Associate of the Year. The award, presented during FHCA’s 2023 Annual Conference in Orlando, is the highest honor an FHCA associate member can receive from Florida’s long term care profession.

Helton has led the way as an active supporter of FHCA for nearly 20 years. She is a long-time member of FHCA’s Associate Member Support Committee, which represents the association’s business partners that provide products and services to the long-term care profession. Helton regularly sponsors FHCA’s district meetings that take place locally across the state, organizes recognition activities for long term care nurses and other frontline staff and has been a trusted voice to the profession, providing resources and guidance on numerous clinical issues.

The 2023 Willis J. Gregson Award is part of Florida Health Care Association’s Long Term Care Achievement Awards, sponsored by Elite Medical Staffing, which were presented during FHCA's Annual Conference, July 23-27 at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando. These awards annually honor a Nursing Home and Assisted Living Facility Administrator of the Year, a business partner and other individuals for their service and dedication to long term care.
